The trials of our first year gardening continue. Supposedly, in Oregon you can plant kale and chard in the fall and harvest it throughout the winter. Unfortunately for us, this winter was just a little too cold (and dark up at our forested farm site) and the crop froze to death.

Christmas with Baby
Phew, its so easy to lose track with things coming along so fast. I think this picture is about 23 weeks, right? It's actually after Christmas when it was taken. (You can tell because all of the snow has melted away) So now the tree is gone (but not forgotten, its actually in the firewood pile) and the belly is bigger. Much bigger--man you should see the thing! Of course momma still looks great!

20 weeks, and starting to look like a baby! Actually, this picture is upside down. In reality she prefers to stand on her head, and oh by the way she is a she!
