It may not be much to look at. It may not meet even one single person's definition of a farm. But here it, is the new Miller City Farm.
What do you mean "Where?"?
It's obvious. Under the hedge, just to the left of the fire hydrant.* There is a row marker at the grass-line, and today, 2/17, I've planted radishes. French Breakfast Radishes. "25 days to maturity" per the package, although I bet that's a bit optimistic--which is a mental state I don't share since it snowed last night.
Also, yesterday the 16th I started-indoors and under the lights-tomatoes, lettuce, garden cress, and some snap and sugar peas.
*This farm didn't exist a week ago. I didn't even know that we owned a fire hydrant until I trimmed the hedge back far enough to find it. And a soccer ball. And a place for our crops!
